Authorities constitute team for regular inspection of schools in J&K | KNO

‘Officers shall submit report to Govt within two days of inspection’

Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNO): Authorities on Wednesday constituted a team from the School Education Department for regular inspection in schools of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Principal Secretary School Education Department has said that the officers selected for the survey or inspection shall submit the report to the government within two days after conducting the inspection. The officers that have been tasked to conduct the inspection include Directors of School Education for Kashmir and Jammu. Both the Directors have been asked to visit at least four schools of each level. “In order to supervise, monitor and enhance the teaching learning process in the educational institutions, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the team of officers,” reads the government order. Similarly, the Special Secretary, Additional Secretary and Deputy Secretary to government for School Education Department have also been asked to visit four schools of all levels in a month. However, the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) have been asked to visit five schools in a month. Likewise, the Deputy CEOs, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and DEPOs have been asked to visit and inspect two middle and three primary schools in a month—(KNO)
